About This Site

Queso and KangaHowdy. I’m your host, es el Queso. I run a graphic design and creative services firm in the San Francisco Bay area. I’m also an avid gardener and cook. It turns out that I eat a wide variety of food each night, so, with the encouragement of friends, I decided to keep a journal of what I eat for dinner.

Then I realized it would be far more interesting if others were able to post their dinners, too. Thus this site you are visiting was born.

Feel free to create an account so you can post what you had for dinner, but you do not have to create an account to comment on others’ dinners. However, be aware posts and comments are moderated, and abuse will not be tolerated. By posting, you agree that your post becomes the property of whatihadfordinnertonight.com.

Like its name, this site is supposed to be about what you had for dinner tonight. Don’t worry if you didn’t cook it yourself, there are categories for that. If you want to include links and photos and videos and recipes and tutorials, please do! However, it’s certainly not required: all your post needs to be is a description of what you had for dinner.

Please do remember to tag your posts’ ingredients and separate each tag with a comma, so that everything gets categorized and cross-indexed. If you have any questions or you are not sure how to do something, please feel free to email me at wihfdt@gmail.com.

You can follow @WIHFDT on Twitter, post your dinners directly to the site by including the hashtag #WIHFDT in a tweet, and check out our page on Facebook, too!

I hope you enjoy your dinner, and everyone else’s too!
