I made YET ANOTHER maangchi recipe. No, I’m not tired of Korean food yet. This was a recipe I’ve been wanting to try but I hate deep frying because of the mess so I’d put it off. But it was so delicious. I added some garlic into the candying liquid and it added a nice flavor I think. I managed to hold myself to four wings tonight, and really I think that’s all I had for dinner. Weird, but it took so long to make these that my hunger passed.

    Glorious! Well done you for daring to deep fry, it looks totally delicious.
    (also, the Korean cook book I bought thanks to your inspiration arrived in the post! I can’t wait to start trying stuff!)
