Risotto

Boy, I can really tell I have a big test coming up. Studying usually brings out the most delicious procrastination.

Tonight I made a risotto with shiitake mushrooms from the pantry, some chicken from last night, some asparagus I found in the freezer, and for the liquid I used some wine and the poaching liquid from last night’s chicken. Topped it off with some parmesan cheese and some white pepper. Tasty! Though…a little sour. I wonder if my wine wasn’t bad…
