Gently citrussy! Served with baked beets, carrots and potatoes and steamed snow peas.

have never seen either on a plate- preserved limes or sumac. I have always thought sumac is something you avoid in the woods
I said something very similar to her the other day
There are a few varieties around – and I wouldn’t be eating poison! It’s a popular spice as well.
Preserved limes btw are pretty awesome and easy to make. You have to wait for 3 months after you make them to use them though!
Still haven’t tried sumac – must try to track some down. Might even improve the taste of beets.
sumac….can one smoke it?
