Friday night dinner. Slacked off after baking a carrot cake. EM will have a version without the wine and garlic chili olives.
The wine is Brown Brothers Dolcetta & Syrah. It is a light fruity red that’s supposed to be served chilled – nice choice for the tropics!

Ha! Chilled red wine…people look at you as if you’re mad!! In Italy we have 2 fizzy red…lambrusco (the real stuff) and Barbera Vivace which must be drunk cold. People used to think I was nuts til they tried it.
Yeah some light reds really do need to be chilled. Mind you in Japan they chill ALL red wine – which is just WRONG!
