Lamb and Potatoes

I have had a busy weekend, but I made time to cook myself a nice dinner tonight. I roasted some teeny tiny potatoes in the oven, and then sautéed them in the pan with some pre-seasoned lamb tips that I picked up from TJs, and they went very nicely together. For a salad, I mixed a big handful of fresh arugula from the garden with some micro-greens and endives, some avocado, a handful of cherry tomatoes, and toasted sesame dressing.

Although it’s a ringer from dinner last night, I had to show off the lovely fruit salad G&T and I made entirely from stuff grown in the back yard: black raspberries, mint, and for the first time since the tree was planted several years ago, PEACHES!!! Mixed together with a little honey and over the top of vanilla ice cream, things don’t get much better…

  1. o, I am green with envy (or should I say dark purple- gosh this would have been perfect pun – no disrespect intended), your raspberries are ripe and look delicsious, I am still waiting on mine- picked one yesterday, but was still on the sour side :)
