The kebab sticks of ostrich were grilled.
Served with a dab of Sriracha sauce, rice with gomashio, and creamed komatsuna.
Definitely making the creamed komatsuna again – was indulgent but delicious!

How did ostrich find its way onto your plate? I had ostrich jerky once when my sister brought some back from South Africa for me when I was but a wee lad.
It’s actually Australian raised ostrich (not emu mind you), which I get from an online store based in Nagoya.
I got the kebabs as a taste test – and they were pretty good so next time I might even get steaks!
Wow- Ostrich steak – the best of both worlds – tricky but worthed- no fat whatsoever
