Was looking for a place to have an early dinner one evening, and came to a Hong Kong style cafe that I used to frequent for breakfast after my driving lessons the year before. The food is usually pretty sinful comfort stuff, like baked rice with cheese, pasta with rich sauces, and the very iconic Hong Kong styled thick toast with various toppings. My favourite is the French Toast with peanut butter, crushed peanuts, slab of butter and condensed milk.
I rounded off the meal with a “yuanyang” which is mixed milk coffee and tea.

Freakish huge chunks of toast are popular here too.
The biggest chunk I ever saw was in a Japanese restaurant in Bangkok. It had to be half a loaf thick! It was liberally covered in condensed milk and hundreds and thousands.
Yeah that’s the idea. Although here it’s usually topped with honey and icecream.
Y’all need to come to the USA and visit an IHOP. (Despite the name, their international reach only extends to Canuckistan and Mexico.)
