It’s that time of the year where I start looking to the freezer for meal ideas, and did quite well tonight. The themes seemed to be butter and Fontina cheese. The sausages were chicken with Fontina and spinach, while the ravioli were portabella mushrooms with Fontina, both from a recent trip to CostCo. The ravioli were tossed in olive oil and garlic and fresh oregano from the garden again, with Parmesan cheese over the top. The mixed veg were from a packet from TJs, containing corn, cauliflower, carrots, peas, beans and butter, while the butternut squash with five spice powder and LOTS of butter was leftover from Thanksgiving dinner. (With profuse apologies to Akbar and Jeff)

butter and cheese – what more do you want. yum.
Whatever happened to Akbar and Jeff, anyway? They still around?
i think the Simpsons completely supplanted Life in Hell, n’est-ce pas?
They kept going in one of the alternative weeklies around here — I presume elsewhere as well. Only the weeklies got to leave such an inky mess that I gave them up to read online, and so, I’ve not seen Akbar & Jeff for a few years.
This is something I could google, isn’t it?
