Since everyone else has been eating/posting about Indian food recently, I guess I should too. Last night a friend of mine was in town and we met up with some other peeps in Chicago. We went to the acclaimed Hema’s Kitchen at its new location on Devon Ave. It was still a “grand opening” at this location, and there was at least one photographer from the Red Eye taking pictures of Hema herself. The back of my head might be famous!!!
Anyway. We started out with veg samosas, which came with this incredible dipping sauce. Mmm. For our meal, we got aloo gohst (lamb+potatoes), two chicken dishes I didn’t catch the names of, and lamb biryani. And 2 orders of rice and 3 orders of naan. So tasty!!
