Tonight I dug into the freezer to see what we had on offer to accompany a salad of various greens from the crisper drawer. It seems to take forever to eat everything in the crisper, even though we are vegetarian and constantly eating vegetables.
In the depths of the freezer, I found a mystery block of something red and tomato-y. Ratatouille? Pasta sauce? Pizza sauce? I had no idea, but it was destined to go over some spelt penne.
It turned out to be a delicious multi-tomato marinara that we’d made earlier in the summer. Utterly delicious. I am liking the Grand Fridge Clear-Out. We’ll see how we go tomorrow night.
